·         Ridership

Average weekday ridership for the month of March 2024 was 126,110 up by 4,843 or 4% from the previous year. Fiscal year-to-date ridership is 31,033,163, up by 5% from the previous year.

 

Ridership continues to recover in 2024 and is still approximately 33 percent lower than pre-pandemic level.

 

·         On-Time Performance

System-wide on-time performance is at 72% for the month of March 2024. Out of 117 total routes, 45 routes exceeded on-time performance of 80% and 1 performed under 50%.

 

The DTS and OTS Service Review Committee reviews service levels, including on-time performance monthly.

 

·         Safety and Security

The number of miles between major collisions is trending higher, reaching over 527,000 miles for the year.

 

The number of reported injuries from passenger slips and falls has increased this year.

 

·         Maintenance

The miles between mechanical road calls have improved, averaging 13,205 miles for the year.

 

·         Service Modifications

Service modifications were implemented with the March sign-up and remain in effect until the June sign-up.

 

-       Route 10 and Route 41, discontinued PM school trippers and readjusted the remaining regular trips running with low capacity.

-       Adjusted Route 88A to provide uniform service and extended two (2) trips on Route 51 to accommodate passengers affected.

-       Route 414, minimized layovers to provide more frequent service.

-       Route 444, added a late trip to connect with rail passengers.
